I was born and raised in Indonesia, a country with thousands of islands, cultures, and beauty that sometimes escapes our eyes. It was from that simple experience that this blog was born. I want to make Dritravels.com a place to share, not only about the places I visited, but also about what I felt while I was there.

Every trip I go on has its own story. Some are full of laughter, some secretly bring tears. Some trips feel light, but some make me ask questions: “Why am I here?” But one thing I believe, there is always a lesson in every trip, no matter how small.

I love taking pictures, not just of the scenery but also of the atmosphere. I love to write, not to look wise, but to remember that I was there, feeling the wind, smelling the sea, hearing the laughter of the locals, or quietly crying at the top of the hill because I felt I had finally arrived.

I’m not the type of person who always has to have a plan. Sometimes, I just go because my heart says, “Let’s go.” And it’s from that disorganization that the most memorable stories are born.

This blog is not about a lavish lifestyle, nor is it about chasing destination hits. It’s about going slow, soaking up the atmosphere, and coming home with more flavors than photos. It’s also a place where I learn to be more grateful because life, though simple, is still worth celebrating.
